I’m Emily Michelle, the founder and principal designer behind Emily Michelle Home and the creative force behind Blended Living. What began as a simple love for design and thrifting turned into a full-blown passion for transforming spaces, telling stories, and curating experiences.

At just 19, I started refinishing furniture as a side hustle, never imagining it would grow into a home goods store, a design firm, and eventually a curated lifestyle brand. From a young age, I’ve been obsessed with how colours, textures, and layouts can shape how we feel. I’ve always believed that design should reflect the unique, layered stories of the people who live there.

That belief is the heartbeat of both Emily Michelle Home and Blended Living. While Emily Michelle Home focuses on bespoke design services—from room refreshes to full-scale renovations—Blended Living is where I get to share my love for curated finds, one-of-a-kind pieces, and immersive shopping experiences.

Through both brands, my goal is simple: to create homes that feel layered, soulful, and lived-in, and to offer a retail space where every visit feels like a new discovery. Whether I’m collaborating on a design project or transforming the shoppe for its next pop-up, I’m always inspired by the idea that design is personal and that no two spaces should ever feel the same!
